Guitar Lessons That Build Week by Week
Anyone can teach children a handful of songs, but helping them to develop real musical ability takes a little more thought. At Learnable, our curriculum has been designed so that each lesson builds on the last. Skills introduced in one term are revisited, practised and extended in the next, allowing children to make steady progress and improve, without feeling overwhelmed.
Each school year is divided into six units, and lessons gradually become more detailed as pupils’ skills develop. By returning to familiar ideas in different ways, children strengthen what they’ve already learned, picking up new techniques along the way. The result isn’t just that they can play a few more songs on a guitar, it’s that they begin to understand how music really works.
